📋 Task Sync Rules
Tasks are only imported if assigned and have both a start and due date
Timely task gets:
The card title
Start/due dates
Labels as tags
Description with a direct Trello link
Tasks assigned to inactive/non-existing users in Timely will get imported as unassigned Tasks
Once the user does becomes active in TImely, those previously imported Tasks will get properly assigned on the next sync
When a Trello card is marked as Done, the Timely task is completed too (but not the other way around)
🛡️ Safeguards
To protect your data and avoid duplication:
Timely won’t delete or change tasks if a Trello card is deleted
Tasks won’t be duplicated if items are renamed or moved in Trello after initial sync

Why isn’t this specific Trello card appearing in Timely?
If your Card doesn’t have both a start AND end date attached it won’t be imported.

The corresponding Timely task will stay put. We don’t delete your tracked work!
Do I need a Tasks add-on subscription to utilize this integration?
You will need the Tasks add-on to use the full functionality of this integration, specifically the creation of Tasks in Timely.
What happens if I add additional Boards to Trello in the future?
Under the default configuration, all new Boards created in Trello will sync over to Timely after a short time.
